PAC faculty use innovative tools in the classroom

Palo Alto College (PAC) Fine Arts Chair Hector Garza and music instructor Edlyn de Oliveira attended Instructurecon 2019, a three-day technology and education conference in Long Beach, CA on July 8-10. The conference, with over 3,000 higher education and K-12 teachers and professors in attendance, was focused around innovation in education and meeting the needs of the 21st-century learners. Sessions included topics about critical components for creating engaging blended-learning environment and how to implement the newest technology tools and resources in classrooms to support learning.

 

PAC Vice President serves on national committee

Gilberto Becerra, Vice President of Student Success at Palo Alto College (PAC), was selected to serve as faculty at the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC) Admission and College Counseling Institute on July 15-18 at Baylor University. Becerra presented workshops on Strategic Enrollment Management and has been invited to serve on the CEO search committee for the National Association for College Admission Counseling. The TACAC Institute focuses on building the enrollment management skills of new enrollment management professionals.
