NVC Ranks High On Niche and BestColleges.com

San Antonio (September 21, 2021) - Northwest Vista College (NVC) was recently ranked the No. 1 community college in San Antonio, No. 2 in Texas and 34 in the nation by Niche.com for 2022 Best Colleges, a national search and data tool that helps millions of students and families find schools, colleges and universities. Niche uses academic, financial and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with reviews from students and alumni.
NVC also ranked as the No. 4 community college in Texas on BestColleges.com for 2021. BestColleges.com ranking is based on data from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and the College Navigator, both of which are hosted by the National center for Educational Statistics.
Both rankings were published in August.
NVC is a part of the Alamo Colleges District, which also includes San Antonio College, St. Philip’s College, Palo Alto College and Northeast Lakeview College. Sister colleges within the Alamo College District also rank high on these ranking sites.

Northwest Vista College (NVC), part of the Alamo Colleges District, is federally designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), an institution of higher learning with a full-time equivalent undergraduate student enrollment that is at least 25% Hispanic.
