Note: 第三十章 and 第1606章 veterans must verify at the end of every month with the VA in order to receive a payment on a timely basis.
The Office of 退伍军人事务部 also assists Texas veterans in obtaining the Hazlewood Act. This program exempts the qualified individual from payment of all tuition and most fees.

帕洛阿尔托学院 is a signatory to the Presidential Executive Order – 美国东部时间ablishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Service Members, 退伍军人, 配偶, and Other Family Members; and the “8 Keys to 退伍军人’ Success” which are steps that postsecondary institutions can take to assist 退伍军人 and Servicemembers in transitioning to higher education, 完成大学课程, 获得职业技能.
- 如果你服过现役, you might be eligible for education 好处 offered by the 退伍军人事务部. 例如, the Post-9/11 GI Bill® provides financial support for educational and housing expenses to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service after September 10, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.
